We check your paperwork, call your references, and see the work on the ground before anyone gets a "verified" stamp next to your name. No stock photos, no institutional forms, just the facts a traveler needs before they book a flight to come help you.
How Verification Works
Four steps, in order, no shortcuts. Every organization goes through the same checks, whether you're a two-person shelter or a fifty-year clinic.
1. Apply
You fill in the intake ledger below, who you are, where you work, what you need, and who can vouch for you. This takes most organizations under twenty minutes.
2. Document Review
Our team checks registration papers, financial basics, and any safeguarding policies you have in place. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what and give you a chance to send it.
3. Reference Check
We contact the references you list, past volunteers, partner organizations, local officials, and ask direct questions about how your project actually runs day to day.
4. On-Ground Visit Or Video Call
Depending on your location, someone from our team either visits in person or walks through your site on a video call, so we can see the work before we put our name behind it.

Does it cost anything to list your NGO?

How long does review actually take?
It depends on how quickly your references respond and whether a site visit needs scheduling around travel. Document review usually moves fast; the reference check and on-ground step take longer if people are hard to reach.
What disqualifies an applicant?
Missing or falsified registration documents, references who can't confirm the work you describe, or evidence that volunteer fees aren't reaching the project. We also decline organizations that can't account for how past volunteers' time or money was actually used.
Can you re-apply if you're declined?
Yes. We tell you specifically what didn't check out, and you're welcome to send an updated application once it's addressed.
